Dominique Dufait ist Mitglied und Preisträgerin von „Handmade in Brugge“, dem Projekt, welches hinter dieser Initiative steckt…

‚handmade in Brugge‘ is a local project to promote the craftsmanship in the city.
With this campaign they want to encourage you to buy your Christmas gifts handmade and local. 10 good reasons:

1. What you buy is unique! Chances that someone else sports the exact same thing are really small.

2. You don’t just buy a product, but also the story behind it. Something made with love and patience, and with the creator’s signature.

3. handmade stands for quality. If there is a defect, you know just the person who can repair it!

4. Customised! a crafstman/woman can meet your exact requirements.

5. You buy locally, so you help reduce transport costs and hence CO2 emissions.

6. Craftsmanship wins hands-down when it comes to value for money.
The choice is yours, cheaper, but broken more quickly or more expensive with longer life.

7. Transparent and fair. You know where the product originated from, who made it and what from.

8. You’re buying a sustainable product, made from sustainable materials and produced with a light ecological footprint.

9. Our heritage will be grateful to you! You are helping us sustain traditional techniques.

10. Tired of the currend economic model?
By buying handmade, you may not change the system, but you can consciously choose what you spend your money on.

Schützen wir dem VEGAN- und VEGETARIER-Trend folgend, nicht nur die Tiere… schützen und schätzen wir letztlich die Menschen, die etwas gestatlten und herstellen.
Stimmen wir mit den Füßen ab gegen Kinderarbeit – Lohndumping – Lohnsklaverei – Arbeitskraftausbeutung – mangelnden Arbeitsschutz…
gegen ausufernden Chemikaliengebrauch in der Produktion von Geschenkartikeln und Spielzeug….
stimmen wir ab gegen Wegwerfartikel ….

Wir schützen dadurch unsere eigenen Arbeitsbedingungen und unsere Umwelt – wir haben nur dies eine Leben und diese eine Erde!

Fazit: Kaufen / Schenken wir handgemacht – gekonnt – nachhaltig – lokal – einzigartig… mit Verantwortung und SCHÖN!
